2x mongoose or Mongoose +Executioner for Muti?

Also, a see a lot of people advising to have +4 all stats on rings instead of 2weapon damage. Is it really better? Any more experienced rogue out there who would like to clear things up?

Hm, 4+ stats are clearly better for sub, for dagger +2 dmg should be equivalent.

As for dual mongoose or exe...armor penetration shit is only worth it, if you have a lot of it aka. serrated blades specced.

For mut go double mong

2 mongoose.
Make a macro for Mutilate.
Use Wound Poison on main hand
Use Slow Poison on offhand
Buy a 3rd fast dagger
Make a Shiv macro
Use Mind Poison on 3rd dagger
Switch daggers with 2 simple macros.
When against a caster/healer use Shiv every 10 sec or less and then switch back to regular daggers.

I personally prefer double mongoose because I like the AP/crit boost, but that's just me. Executioner is, however, more useful vs plate/mail and druids in general.

Some time ago you could actually use those macros and apply various poisons without the weapon switching GCD penalty.

It was early vanilla I'm pretty sure. Last I played 1.12 they had it proc gcd.
