Also what would be best to gem as a shockadin.

I realize this is an old post, but here's a good explanation of the 40/0/21 spec (although not the playstyle!)

Gems: 12 crit/3% increased crit meta, 12 sp red, 12 res yellow, 5 res/6stam blue. There are other choices for blue.
If there is enough interest I might do a complete TBC shockadin guide. Most existing guides for Shockadin were updated through Wrath and Cata and therefore are of little use for TBC.

That site is actually hilariously terrible when it comes to spec's, but it does give you an idea.

Thanks, this is good to know as it's a rather integral part of the scaling. I'll have to start lurking the bugtracker, and swap my meta in the meantime.
Seal of Righteousness is said to also not be scaling properly.

Yeah, I was disappointed with the lack of explanation for how to *play* the spec... I think the comments section was accurate in that the article was "churned out". But it did get the basic spec right.
