Severe donation code delays (15-21 May)

Post by Henhouse »

Hi everyone,

I received numerous inquiries about donation codes specially from 15th - 21st of May not being delivered. It seems that through these days there have been severe delays with Paymentwall processing them. I have inquired further for reasoning and am awaiting a response from Paymentwall's team. It does seem that after 3-4 days most users' codes are starting to finish processing, and become visible on their donation codes page.

I sincerely apologize for this delay, and I am not sure why specifically this occurred. It doesn't seem the issue is on our side, and today, on the 22nd, it would appear that all codes made it through successfully with leads me to believe this delay has past.

If your codes do not come through within 5 days, please write us again. I will be responding to all recent email inquiries with a link to this thread.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

Ah well maybe from 23rd to 31st you`ll send the codes on 4th.

On a serious note : you gotta speed donations,by this rate I would have gotten drunk then sobered up and get drunk once again.

Hey I know this post says delays 15-21st, and all codes appear to have gone through, but i donated the 21st early morning and still haven't gotten my code. Anyway you or another gm could send the code or speed the process? I'd rather not wait so long. I do understand if there are an overwhelming amount of donations but there should be some process to quickly make the transactions and send the codes. Thanks for your help and info, please get back to me.

If it was within my power to speed up a delay caused by a 3rd-party, believe me, I would. But this is exactly why this issue is happening -- it's not on our end. There's nothing I can do except wait patiently like the rest of you for Paymentwall to get their shit together and finish processing these, or write me back to tell me what the issue is.

We understand Henhouse, and we get that this is not your issue and you don't have any power over that domain, however is there any other donation option you could pick up that is processing donations faster and its economically affordable for the server to use and work with the users?

I've just heard back from Paymentwall. It was a problem on their end, and they've resolved it. All new donations seem to be processing at normal speeds. I just tested with my own card and my code went through instantly.

I will ask them to send their credit confirmations to our server again so that all the codes will go through automatically. Else, I'll need to manually fix all the broken ones. Hopefully they'll be able to do that.

So we should expect our codes to arrive soon(ish)?

If we don't what should we send on the e-mail? Just our paymentwall e-mail that has been sent in our email box once we donated?

System is fixed now, but it seems they're not going to resend all the ones that didn't make it through. If you haven't already, email me. Feel free to follow up on it. I'm going through some of the emails right now manually delivering some of the ones that didn't make it through.
