Pre-BC Cancellation

Sorry folks, but after a long discussion between me and Henhouse we have decided to cancel the Pre-BC server project. I know that I was the most pumped up about the idea, but after the idea of a Wrath server getting accepted leaving us with a max of 3 realms we realized how much resources we would need for all of this. Also, we noticed how time consuming the whole idea was compared to a Wrath server being that we would have recreate the whole server (basically created Smolderforge all over again). We decided that at the time we just don't have the time or the resources to make such a leap from 1 to 3 servers especially when the population for the Pre-BC realm is not projected to be very high compared to the Wrath server.

To all those that truly wished for a Pre-BC realm, I am truly sorry for the inconvenience. If you really wish to play a Pre-BC server you can try to look for one, there is one called Q-Gaming that would probably be the closest in relation to our Pre-BC server (and would have been our biggest competition).

To clarify things, the Wrath server is still on and in fact is our top priority now so you should be seeing advancement in that after some time.

Like Riski said, we would be building a completely new server, and starting from scratch... AGAIN takes a lot of time and we just do not have the time to do that. However, we'll still look into doing a 3v3 tournament.

Yes, we have no intention of closing off the 2.4.3 server a.k.a. Smolderforge.

By the way, if (possibly) in the future would be 2.4.3 & Wrath functional - I mean really functional without any further problems, is there the possibility to make pre-bc then? If you can hold 3 servers with some acceptable number of online players?

Yes, I realize its quite senseless thinking at the moment, but still I just had to ask :)
Many things could change, blabla, etc, but I just wanted to know if you would be able to do it i you had the chance

It's possible, however we have had very lucky situations in finding ways to hold these servers. So, yes, many things can change and if the planets align in such a fashion it could work out. We shall see but it will be a very long time before that window of opportunity opens up.
