It's a long story what happened, and I need to leave right now but all the characters got badly screwed up thanks to a MaNGOS update. I tried to restore but there was no way I could get it to work. I spent over 1 hour trying to fix it but it wouldn't work.

I'll be posted on the MaNGOS forums to see if there is a way to get it fixed. Whoever can get it fixed I'll be rewarding $50 USD. I'll continue to try to fix this problem; it has highly upset me.


I'm so very sorry for this, there was nothing I could do. I'll post updates when I can.

Hope he is able to fix it, but if he isnt able to fix it, i'm sure he'd take some time to restore the donors chars :S But, G'luck with it Hen, hope all goes well.

You see the problem with restoring donor items is that we would have to prove who is who not that its a problem but theres over 200 donors now thats alot of people and alot of work. So just calm down and we will get to work on it after the more important issues are taken into hand. While u have time i suggest u look for any proof of ur donation such as paypal conformation numbers, screen shots.
This will take time i hope u all hang tuff with us.
But then again who knws there may be a answer somewhere in the depths of mangos fourms :)

Good News Everyone Henhouse has most likely did it. It possibly could be fixed. You all better be happy :)

Really? did he have to reset the servers to an earlier day or could he get w/e he was gonna do to work? Good job!

After ~4 hours of working now I was able to get it to read the database file. However, no edits or anything can be made >_<. But I was able to dump all the data into a SQL file which I can reimport.... but... this could take 1-3 days to complete...


However, everything should return to normal after this import finishes.

So the servers gonna be down 1-3 days?

Well, let's just be patient and hope it works out the way it should.

And Sloppy, it says "this could take 1-3 days to complete..." it could take 1 hour aswell, it all depends on how much time henhouse wanna spend fixing this problem, it might not even work if i read it all correctly, let's just hope for the best :)
