I have edited the first post to address a change we have recently revised:

Titles and awards will no longer degrade until you lose them -- you will simply hold onto them for an additional season afterwards keeping the same rewards and title for that 2nd season. Afterwards, they will be removed from you. However, we are going to allow players to hold onto their tabards.



tl;dr: awards won't degrade anymore, you just hold onto them longer.

Nice try, but the original system did this. We didn't announce the arena changes until the system was in place and ready. I made this change after numerous arena players complained to me that the "degrading" simply made no sense and was stupid, therefore I decided to change it. The entire system is automated, just for the record. And yes, I made it.

- Tied teams no longer are required to play a best-of-X series to determine rank at season end. We will now be determining rank based on a team's win percentage starting with season 27.

Update to official arena criteria rules (2020-06-14):

The requirement that a player must be within 100 personal rating of their team rating now only applies if the personal rating or team rating is below 2000.
