Can't create account :( email invalid

Can't create account. Says email is invalid... the same one I used to create this forum account.

Are you getting this error on the forums, or website? Forum accounts are separate from in-game accounts made on the main site.

This is the account made on the main site. I finally got it to work, but I had to use my email address as my account name, and now I can't log into the game because my email address is too long for the in game log in...

Am I missing or doing something wrong here?
