new unable to connect

hi im new a friend of mine sent me here
ive already DL the installer and extracted
made an account here
changed realm list(on the BC folder) to connect.smolderforge.com
but still cant connect can i get a little help please

Try to use this realmlist just in case you made some typo.

I'm beginning to think I should remake the torrent entirely with the realmlist already filled in. The problem is getting enough seeders to seed the thing again. Our web server (this one) actively seeds it, but so do loads of other people. Just seems like it would simplify a lot of confusion and issues players tend to have. Or at least a connection guide on the website...
