Ridiculous lag in rated arena

Hi,

So I'm getting insane lag spikes when arenas start. My MS will shoot up from 100 to up to 2000 making the match unplayable and often disconnecting me a bit further into the game. It seems to start when I enter combat and sometimes I can still move around and use abilities, other times I'm just stuck in one spot.

Don't have this issue in bgs/raids or anywhere else on the server.

Anyone know if there's a fix for this or what's causing? I want to do the solo queue arenas but this issue makes it unplayable (happens in 2v2 as well). I know back in 2010 I didn't have this issue and am playing on the same comp.

All that tells me is that it's my connection. So are arenas hosted on another server? Cause this doesn't happen on any other server, nor anywhere else on Smolderforge. :S

Any way that I can test that it's my connection and where it goes wrong?

It is your connection, allow me to explain.

I have two internets:

1) Is a small wifi cookie only good for facebook, skyping and stuff.
2) is a super powerful hotel wifi.

When I play on 1) - I am okay, but when I go to arena and it starts, literally a massive transfer of uploading and downloading data begins via the internet, the cookie can't handle it, so I get ridicilious lag.

When I play on an actually good internet 2) - I have no such issues.

Right, but on the same connection I played arenas on Smolderforge before, and can currently play fine on other private servers and on retail. It's a wired connection and not some cheap slow one.

Beyond this, how can it be fixed then?
