Characters gone? Recently returned here

Hello, today me and my friend were going to start playing on this server again, however we found it strange that none of us could log in with our usual usernames. We then tried to make new accounts with our usernames and none of them were taken, which made me suspicious. We also chose silly names on this server so we couldn't remember them.

I did however remember that I made a forum post here about a refund a long time ago, so I used the search function to search for my username (that I suspected I had) and I found the thread which includes our in-game names and this account that I'm posting on.

Our names are at the bottom of the OP, Garbege and Dragesas.

Either way, we added these 2 characters in-game but it says they don't exist. I guess you've wiped our accounts + characters then for whatever reason. Normally I wouldn't care but we both had the 5 dollar donation pack on both of them so we'd rather not make new characters and start all over again.

Could I get an explanation of this? We'd like to get our characters back.

If you've been inactive for a really long time (6+ months, if I recall correctly, not sure) your account gets deleted to prevent the database from getting too heavy.

Is there any way of getting the shit back? Feels kind of lame that the money we spent just goes down the drain

Well, a few weeks (?) ago Henhouse added a new feature in the donor mall, which prevents your account to be wiped by prunes (Since you're obviously a donor) - I suppose you left before that got implemented.

Apart the above, I don't know. I haven't been in a similar situation.

I see... Perhaps someone in a position of authority could come in here and shed some light? I'd like to know if there is any way to get me and my friends stuff back.

You can compare to clearing your trashbin on windows.
Once you removed it via a prune there is no way to return your chars.

What you can possibly do is take a look at your paypal acc and copy the transaction ID
And also look for te codes you used in your email.
You can send that info within an email to [email protected] (server owners email.) and he could maybe MAYBE refund your code.

To correct some of the information, the time of passage is 10 months, not 6 and we implemented donor preservation over 3 months ago, not weeks.

But once deleted, they are completely gone. I'm afraid you will have to start over.
