Stuck on Authenticating.

I just created an account, I wanted to play, I downloaded the pre-installed 2.4.3, and my realmlist.wtf is in Data/enGB, and in it it says "set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com", and I just don't know what to do, my friend Mungo (or Mungol) plays, and I would like to play as well.

Your realmlist should not be in /Data/enGB/ it should be in the root folder that Wow.exe is in. Only in Wrath+ clients did the file ever get moved into the Data folder.

Oh, sorry, I've never played on a BC server, I played BC retail, but I usually just used the launcher, I also normally play Wotlk 3.3.5a servers, because I have a 3.3.5a and now a 2.4.3. Thanks hen.

No problem. :) Enjoy playing!
PS: if you're just getting online now, these are the dead hours. For ~300 players, login during 1-3PM EST those are the peak hours.
