We need more information to help you. Where is your realmlist.wtf file, is it realmlist.wtf and not .txt, what are its contents, are ports 3724 and 8085 open? etc.

WiFi ports are only from accepting connections (like if you're hosting a game) these exceptions are done through Windows firewall. Additionally, allow the Wow.exe program to pass through the firewall too. This may clear up connection problems.

The realmlist.wtf file is in the same folder as Wow.exe, correct? Only in Wrath was in moved into the /Data/ folder.

So the realmlist is in the same main folder as Wow.exe, correct?

Try resetting the file to:

set realmlist 87.119.221.5

(the IP address of the server) and see if anything changes. When it says Success and you hit cancel, does it go to the server realm selection list?
