Hey guys
my friend who just made an account on smolderforge can't log on.
He has the correct version of client and correct realmlist but he gets the incorrect password error when he tries to log on. "the information you have entered is not valid" ...
When I try to log on that account it works just fine.
Anyone has any idea what could be the problem?

Did he change his realmlist?

Oh, apparently I decided to skip that whole line. My bad.

Now it just sounds plain wierd. Could be the cache if he's played on other 2.4.3 servers with the same client I guess.

Is he still experiencing this problem? It looks like he's either using the wrong password or using the wrong realmlist.

Ask him to check the spelling, maybe he missspelled something.

He's using the right realmlist
set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com
He shared the account with me and i can log onto it just fine.
So yes he's got the login info right.

Try creating a new account to see if it works better.

Unfortunately WoW does not seem to check on caps regarding the password. You could LeeTsPeAk your password and still get in with all upper or lowercase letters. This was also on retail, so it's not our end. I imagine this was one of the reasons they got authenticators.

im also having this problem, everything is right my pass/user is all lowercase, i dunno whats going on.
