spell pen

i coudlnt find another post on this, so i figured id ask.
is spell pen bugged on this server? or whats the math behind it here?
i hav 111 spellpen, and my spells are still getting resisted on unbuffed classes, i doubt they have 111+ resistances.

That's because it's not actual spell resists, but spell misses. Search for bugged spell hit here on the forums and you'll most likely find quite a lot on the subject.

There's always a 1% chance your spells will be resisted not matter how many spell penetration or hit rating you have.

anyway i still feel like there's more then just 1% chance on miss.

That's because they have a talent that reduces spellhit.

slsl. is destro spec different with the misses? i think ive read that more destro spells are bugged?
