i just downloaded vanilla wow and tbc i installed vannila wow and tbc then i rund the patches . i also changed the name of serverlist.wtf to connect.smolderforge.com when i logg in and try to start the game it starts downloading for patch 4.0? what am i doing wrong.

youre using the wrong wow launcher. u get 2 in youre base folder.
download the Smolderlauncher here :

and Put it into youre c:/program files/warcraft directory.
then it should be workin.

dont forget to check if u have any additional spaces in youre realmlist.

There is no serverlist.wtf, it's realmlist.wtf -- make sure that is the right file. It should read exactly:

set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com
set patchlist connect.smolderforge.com
