Im a new,to this server i played alot of pservers.....but evry time i log in it says that i have wrong patch im 100% im on a 2.4.3 and it wants me to dawnload 4.0.0 .Help?:)

Check your realmlist is right, check your launching the game with wow.exe, check on the login screen for the version number, if all that is correct It should work.

I to am having this problem. All of the things you mentioned are correct but when I attempt to log in through WoW it seems like its taking me to the character page but instead it sais a patch is required and only gives me the option to restart. Now it also does this even if I log in with a fake account and PW. I am logging in with the same information that I used to enter account management is that right? Or Do I need to use different information? Or have you seen this before and know how to fix it? Thank you.

Do not launch WoW via the Launcher, because this will connect to Blizzard's servers and attempt patching.

Or you can avoid this by in the realmlist setting the "set patchlist" to our address as well.

How do I set the patchlist?

By editing the same file you edit to change the realmlist.

And I just set that to "connect.smolderforge.com" as well?

Yes, in fact anything will suffice as long as it's not Blizzard's servers.
