my server list just says there offline i play retail so i should have all expansions can i log on with that cata launcher?

How are you expecting to play a 2.4.3 TBC server on a Cataclysm 4.2.2 client? That's impossible, you need to download the 2.4.3 client and install that separately.

ok i get you so just download BC as a whole new wow

Yes, and install to a whole new directory. It's two separate WoW clients.
