When I attempt to install Classic wow the installer runs right up until 99% then I get an error saying:

"The file "E:\World of Warcraft.temp" could not be renamed to "E:\World of Warcraft". (ConflictManager::ResolveConflicts/1)"

Has anybody seen this error before? Any help getting past it would be highly appreciated.

I will add, I have run the program in Super Admin, restarted my computer and downloaded the install again from this websites link. I have no AV/Firewalls running.

Thank you, I never thought to try safe mode. I will try it and get back to you.

Just for reference for anybody else that had this, the un-check desktop works apparently but I never put icons on my desktop so it wasn't the case for me.

Safe mode worked, thank you very much for the help.
