I started on this realm 2 days ago, after a 5-6 year experience in retail. I'd download the official TBC Client but Blizzard changed their services and have Classic+TBC+WLK into one bundle for their old customers.
I was having a very certain problem these 2 days (screen going black and visuals freezing there (though sound worked fine etc) ) and through the various sites I saw different size torrents, which means that people who upload the client files must fuck sth up. I liked the server and would like to keep playing here, but for that I'll need a pretty clean installation. (the black screen problem happens only when i log in smolderforge btw. it doesnt happen on retail or other programs). So, to find out about that problem and see if I can keep playing, I'll need:

An updated link to download the files again (classic + Tbc + patches or w/e) (checked every link on the forums but none is working right now).

Alright, done with the whole thing. It ran okay for first couple of hours, then black screen problem showed up again. And since at least this link wasn't from some hurrdurrwegivefreeaids.lol site, plus I'm also scanning my whole PC every week for malware and stuff, I'm drove to the conclusion it is hardware malfunction. Will try a format nevertheless in a few days though.
