Sure enough this is a bug, but sadly we can't fix that, it's core related. However it probably is really adding +5% but you just can't see it, it's probably a display issue.soysoz wrote:on my warrior, im specced 5/5 in deflection and i still have 0% chance to parry.
Parry is a passive ability, not a spell, but I suppose you can learn it. Also these trainers ARE Blizzard made, try Thottbotting them, they've just had spells added to them from quests, etc. Parry isn't learned and that's what I was saying by that. Parry actually is learned.
Warriors get parry at level 6, hunters and paladins at level 8, and rogues at level 12. Shamans has a 20 point Enhancement talent called Spirit Weapons.

About the trainers, I know they are Blizzard made by, but Blizzard has put them somewhere else, GMs changed their spots, and in that case something probably happened, parry shouldnt be missing from trainers if Im right, because its at lvl 6, the trainers from starting locs teach it.
