Lag, Server Location??

I thought this was a US server based on all of the english speaking players but my latency is anywhere from 150-300 most of the time which is the same latency i get at arena-tournament but most of them barely speak english. Is this UK or something? Cause I get like 30-40ms on retail and have a 10+mbps connection.

I use the TCP ack fix too, is there something else that would help me with latency? As a side note I don't FEEL like I'm lagging as long as I'm not in combat, I can run around and use abilities instantly w/ no problem but once the arena match starts or I'm in BG combat it feels very spikey.

Our TBC server is hosted in Berlin, Germany and Wrath is in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

We started out running in the US, but overtime we moved to Europe when we finally went dedicated to better support our majority population. 150ms is not bad. In fact that still is in the 'green' zone I do believe. From all the times I've played retail I always have ~110ms being Eastern US since they host all their servers in California.

So I'm guessing your US West? That's why you get better connection on retail but what you're getting is not necessary bad at all.

I live in nebraska so, midwest. But its not like a constant 130-150, I would be okay with that. It seems very spikey like things will freeze up for few seconds sometimes and I'll see it all play out after everyones done running in place. O well, I'll try routing lowerping through germany server or something.
