Smolderforge 70 server appears offline

I edited my realmlist, but when I try to play on the server it appears as offline. I assume it may be because my wow client is upgraded to patch 4.2. If this is the issue, how to I downgrade my client to 2.4.3? I searched all over and was unable to find out how.

You cannot downgrade a client like that. You will need to install a new, (if you have the space) 2nd WoW on your computer. This is possible to do.
