Installation problem, please help

I downloaded the game from the create-account page, and got 3 folders: Classic Client, TBC Expansion and Patches (2.0.0->...->2.4.3). I know that the order of installation should be classic>TBC>patches, but the problem is that NOTHING happens when i run the classic installer. I allow the program to make changes on my computer and then nothing else.
What should i do?

Are you sure the entire torrent finished downloading?

You could try restarting your computer. Other than that I'm not too sure.

Try running the installer as administrator (rightclick, run as administrator) if you're using vista or windows 7.

And just like Henhouse said, try restarting your computer and checking if the torrent actually finished downloading.

Yes, the download was finished. I tried restarting the computer, same result.
Then, after i tried to run the installer again a few times (hopelessly though), i deleted all the files and started downloading again, thinking it was some kind of error with that.

The thing is i got, since then, a few errors, saying that the installer could not find the required files and therefore cannot start. My guess is these were the outcomes of me running the installer in the first place, with some kind of huge delay -.-
Gonna try again after second download is complete, this time waiting enough after each installer run.

Any idea what could this be all about?

Try installing it in a different file path (avoid c:/program files/, its known for having problems with WoW installs).

I was already going to do that, the problem occurs while running the installer, I never get to the installation destination selection actually.
