Smolderforge Support Community

I live in the US and before I scramble my brain working on a 2nd install for wow I have some questions.

1: Is Smolderforge in the US or in the UK?
2: if in the UK can a US person connect? I know that with blizzards actual server it is nearly impossible to it and am curious about how private servers work.

Well the server is located in Germany. I am from the US too, however you can play it just fine. This isn't a retail game where only localized versions of the game are sold in certain areas to keep players playing on localized servers. You can connect from anywhere in the world. Depending where you're from however, that connection can be good or bad.

I live on the east coast and get around 109ms. That is about as much or smaller latency that I would get playing retail on a Eastern US server. Yeah so... it's not bad. West coast is probably around 150-160ms. South America / Australia have 300+ sometimes due to the distance.
