Hi there, I just installed wow and patched up to 2.4.3, have tbc, created an account, and set my realmlist.wtf to set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info

For some reason, when I enter my username/password, it says Unable to Connect.

When I changed the realmlist.wtf to .org instead of .info, just to test my connection, I was simply prompted with an error telling me to make an account (obviously)

So I can connect to your servers, I have the correct Wow version, I have the correct realmlist, I have an account created, but for some reason it still doesn't work.

Why would you rename realmlist.wtf to anything else but realmlist.wtf?

obviously I renamed the text inside and not the file itself. Please assume I'm not a complete idiot.

So anyway, to the issue at hand.

Everything on my end is kosher.

Unable to Connect at login.

Some of the staff will ask you to post the contents of your realmlist folder here, I suggest doing that just be to super duper extra sure. Other than that, check your patch again, if that fails, Idk what else 'cause I'm a noob.

Oh, and Henhouse(Server Admin) is gone for about a week, he's the pro at this stuff. He does have a laptop so not all hope is lost.

Get a friend to give you his realmlist.wtf sometimes it gets bugged >.>

Only thing my realmlist.wtf file says when I open it with notepad as a txt file in the same directory location as the wow.exe, is this

set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info

I also have Cata on this PC, and just copied my realmist.wtf file over to my 2.4.3 version folder and changed the contents to

set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info

Still says Unable to Connect

Nobody knows...?
