i installed everything but wow.exe is giving me new patch

I installed everything in torrent .classic first then TBC..after i copied the patches in the wow folder and i started installing them when i finished i opened wow.exe but when i log in it says there is an update 3.3.x to 4.0.0,,what to do?

Change your realmlist before opening wow

Make sure the "set patchlist" is set to another address as well to prevent patching.
