You can't "bring down" a server cuz a person insulted you and you are mad about it, what are you gonna do? Tell blizzard a person called you a name and they are gonna come shut the server down? LOLD

Since private servers get shut down all the time I dont see why a racist one should stand.

Yeah because I was definitely standing right there and said "we promote this!" so I'm a little offended at your title as it's degrading to me.


But I will speak with this player, my advice is to just ignore it -- it's the Internet and I hear this word about 10 times a day anyway. Getting angry really just escalates it and will make them do it more and start a flame war.

Speaking from my 3 years of experience there is only one time Blizzard acted and it was against 3 private servers that were profiting like half a million a year. That was the first and last time they did anything. That was in mid '08.

He also stated that he calls gms "worse" names than that.

and him stating that it isnt against the rules is why i said that.
