- Smolderforge 2.4.3 on Mac OS X Installation Guide

Start by downloading the 2.0.0 client:

- Download Transmission(Mac torrent program): http://www.transmissionbt.com

-Press this link http://download-tbc.smolderforge.com
"This will download ALL OF WOW, BC and patches to 2.4.3"
BUT the patches are for Windows users so don't download the patches (1.18 Gig .exe junk)
WoW TBC client (Version 2.0.0) (4.04 Gig)

- Now wait until the download is complete.


Installation:

- Open your download folder then "WoW + BC + 2.4.3" -> "Classic Client" World of Warcraft (OS X).
Accept all and wait till its done.

- Open your download folder then "WoW + BC + 2.4.3" -> "Burning Crusade" Installer


Downloading of patches:


- Use these links to get patches from 2.0.0 -> 2.4.3
(Macgamefiles.com and brothersoft.com)

2.x.x -> 2.3.0 (872MB)

Also install in that order ;)
(MB) = the enGB sice
Installation:

After this go to your wow folder then data folder and open realmlist.wtf with any writing program
(I used TextEdit on Mac)
Delete all everything in realmlist.wtf and copy & paste:

set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info
set patchlist smolderforge.dyndns.info

IF WOW START AUTO-PATCHING BEFORE YOU CHANGED STOP IT!! DON'T LET IT AUTO PATCH.

Mod edit: It shouldn't auto-patch if you run it without launcher. (Might be wrong though, I don't use mac!)

Now go to Smolderforge.com create a account.
Start World of Warcraft, login to Smolderforge and enjoy :D

Thank you, I'm sure someone will find use in this! Stickied this topic.

However, there is no 2.X -> 2.4.0 patch for Mac? I only had to download 4 different patches when I installed my 2.4.3, which were: 2.0 -> 2.4.0 (1.1gb) and 3 (small) ones from 2.4.0 to 2.4.3.

I found a 2.x.x patch to 2.4.0 buth it was 700gig so no point in linking that so i made ths way cous i know it was from safe sources :)

After every patch even doh i changet realmlist.wtf it tryed to autopatch from wow dont know why.
I think that the patches auto opens the wow lancher.

It's not hard to stop it from patching. Don't open launcher or make realmlist.WTF have the set patchlist to our address or anything than the Blizzard patch servers. Also every time you patch the game it resets the realmlist.WTF so just close the launcher when that happens then letting it auto patch, not hard.

Hey guys,
So I'm having problems going from version 2.0.0 TBC to 2.4.3. I have downloaded the patches listed above, but its not working, and whenever I turn on the game to type in my account info it still says it's version 2.0.0 on the bottom left side of the log in screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hello, I have a problem. I've downloaded it but when I try to install classic clinet it doesn't work. I open it and there's option to: "Play World of Warcraft" when I chose it, it shows me an error which says: " The file "/Users/John/.Trash/World of Warcraft/World of Warcraft Launcher.app/" could not be opened." I had wow before, but I removed it. Please help me. What do I have to do to make this going??
