AFK Multiboxers in BGs

Seems to be a thing now more and more of some horde players multiboxing and logging in multiple alliance players to afk inside the bg's. Reporting them afk does nothing, they just make a new account and do the same thing. This is exploitation and completely ruins the battlegrounds. Every match they have a significant advantage because of the complete imbalance of how many are actually pvping against each other. Please do something about this or I might reconsider a new server to actually pvp.

I haven't bother to que at all and waste my time. I dont see how screenshots of this happening would solve anything. They'll just make a new account/new name/new characters/with a new IP address. Even if you found them and banned them for it, the problem will still persist. Sorry I can't help you out maybe someone else will provide you with screenshots. But I just don't see any point in playing or any point in helping you catch these guys. This is your job not mine. If you can't prevent this from happening in the first place then there's no hope for me to pvp on this server.

An auto kick system to be in place. Like if you've been afk for 2mins inside a BG you get auto kick, And implementing a form of auto kick for when players haven't walked/ran a certian amount of step inside the BG. Essentially we need a system in place that makes it too much of a pain to continously try to afk multibox. While im sure they'll still find a way around it, it'll become more noticable who is doing it, and will require more thought and organization for them to do it. For anybody saying these rules are unfair, it's unfair for you to que up to a bg and be afk for more than 2mins in a bg, it's also unfair if you don't actually move around inside the bg. For any player who is serious about the bg match they're queuing up for neither of these "rules" for autokicking will effect them. There should be more brainstorming and discussion over what type of system should be implemented, because the report player for afk option simply is ineffective.

You are wrong in thinking reports do nothing. We most certainty track these people down and deliver punishment. Anyone who is "going around it" for the sake of being harmful to the community clearly isn't playing SF for fun and has malicious intent towards the server and need to be removed immediately; however, we do not have 24/7 BG police.

I have wanted a WotLK-styled Report AFK system for some time, and have been meaning to look into it again. In TBC, as on SF, you simply become flagged and do not receive honor or rewards. However, in later expansions you are simply kicked. This would help somewhat for legitimately AFK people, but those maliciously trying to disrupt the battleground scene need to be reported and dealt with.

Ahh! I was unaware of the actual consequences given to players who got enough reports of afk. I take back what I said about it being ineffective. It works but I was just under the impression it didn't because nobody ever got kicked from the game. I do see the WOTLK system report for afk being effective in stopping the abuse of afking multiboxing. As of now they don't care if the account they are afking on gets penalized so they continue doing it without worry.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I hope to see the WOTLK system implemented soon but for now whenever I do que I'll try to keep my eye out on the culprits and report them to you.

The new poll that just went live has this as a question. While I estimate it will mostly be players in favor, it's still fun to gather input.
