I'm new and trying to figure out how to download the client, do I need Utorrent or can i use Google Chrome to unzip the file? sort of clueless as to how to get it working.

You need a torrent program like uTorrent to download the files, yes. Then you will need to extract the .rar file with WinRAR or 7zip.

I extracted the client and I'm able to open it, but it keeps saying that my information is invalid and i know for a fact that im not typing it in wrong. i extracted the file to program files and its saying WoW Error underneath the client. thoroughly confused.

I did download the client from somewhere else, but it wont let me change the realmlist for some reason. hoping you have some know-how.

You probably have a modified client that made it so you can't play on other servers (really lame). So download the torrent we provide, it's unmodified and does not have a set realmlist so it can be used on any TBC server.
