Basically I noticed that when you die in battlegrounds, there's a chance that the last few buffs/debuffs you got on you before dying might remain on you as you wait to get resurrected and even afterwards. Notice how Sprint is still on as I wait and I do move around 70% faster.

As for the issue, are any major beneficial buffs staying on? The Sprint one luckily isn't too bad as it'll likely expire by the time you resurrect, and given that it's a rare chance, you say.

It's not just spells like Sprint. Spells like Moonfire, Shadow Word: Pain and some warlock curses also remain active after you die. You're lucky if you happen to get resurrected once they've faded, but sometimes you might lose 30-40% of your health and that's just annoying.
