Hey thanks for the help. I was able to successfully extract the files and start the launcher. My new issue is that I am stuck at authenticating when I try to log in. I changed the "realmlist.wtf" folder in notepad to read
"set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com"

but still haven't had any luck. Thoughts or suggestions anyone?

Might have changed the document to realmlist.wtf.txt.

Ok, so disclaimer this is my first time ever trying to use winrar and bittorrent and i'm not the most computer literate in general. The guide on the first page has me confused, exactly how many things am i downloading? On the Downloads page there 7 things, including addons and a video and I don't know which ones I'm downloading and which I'm not.

Can I have a very dumbed down process with step by step with specific things i'm downloading and in what order, then what I'm supposed to do after I extract them. Seriously, treat me like I'm 5 if necessary. I realize I'm a noob at this, I'm legitimately trying to learn here and any help would be GREATLY appreciated so I can into the game.

The one time I tried doing it alone I got the BC login screen up and it said it was unable to connect, and then began auto-downloading the wotlk patch? Please advise, PM or via thread. Thanks in advance fellas.

Download only the first one, the pre-installed client. Once it has finished, unextract it with a program such as 7zip (recommended), or WinRAR. Once it has been unextracted, open the folder and open the file named "realmlist.wtf" with Notepad or some text editor. Add the contents to the file:

set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com

Save the file. Make sure you save it as .wtf and NOT .txt! Then you can run Wow.exe and login to the game.
