How to install a fresh 2.4.3 client * UPDATED GUIDE *

An easier way to do this is to download this torrent, http://www.mediafire.com/?6sgl1ycosop58ce.


Everything is pre-installed therefore all you have to do is download and run it.

Not a smart idea though, that can cause a lot of crashes if they do not have a lot of system stuff installed beforehand. If the user has never installed a WoW to that directory before, there's a great chance it will crash constantly. Not to mention that download I'm presuming shows no help to Mac OS X users. It's better, all-in-all to freshly install.

i've tried doing this, but for whatever reason, when i get to the patch to update from 2.4.1 to 2.4.2, when the patch is done, the WowError.exe disappears. i've tried a lot of different things to get past this. but nothing seems to work. can someone help me.

also the repair thing doesn't work.

Hey, im hoping to start on this server, but i had a 4.0.6 client before i uninstalled Wow, i have just finished installing TBC and now have the troubling task of patching up. I am from England so european patches would be nice, and also some advice on downloading them (not used torrents very much before) thanks :)

Use that torrent and select to download only the "Patches" folder.

That link just opens a download for me, nothing about "just patches" and when it tries to download it says "application not found"

Im using utorrent to download the 1st link, but it says wait time is 4weeks and 4days and i have a pretty stable connection. Any ideas how to speed up the process?

I was thinking about getting back on Smolderforge after my brief visit to the army, but the DL links in both the posts are dead. Would anyone happen to know any good ones I could use?
