Pala flag abusing

A paladin using blessing of protection to steal flag from team members over and over again, then just stands and holds onto the flag refusing to cap.

Ye, but the diffrence is, on this server there are daily quests to cap one wsg flag. and i tried to do this quest but the paladin just kept following me and stealing my flag evry time. keeping me from doing the quest.
That is the diffrence, there was not a daily quest to cap 1 wsg flag in retail tbc.

In TBC it was possible to queue for multiple battlegrounds, accept one, and remain queue for the other(s). It is likely this is what happened.

We should add an additional check on the join battleground area, and not just when a player tries to queue.
