Extreme Latency Issue

Hey guys, this morning i logged on to play some wow and came on to find that i have an insanely un-playable 5k MS. At first i thought someone in the house may be downloading or streaming or something, but no one was. So i tried to watch some streams and it ran fine and later i did a ping test and everything checked out as normal. I can play WOTLK w/o any lag issues but whenver i try to go on any TBC server i get enormous lag. Would anyone happen to know a solution ;o?
