Constant DC's

So idk whats up, but my connection is all outa wack. The last few days i would dc anywhere from every 5 mins up to like once every half hour. I was looking online and some things told me to delete cache, reboot laptop, reboot home computer with router, and i even had the router and modem reset earlier today. Now I dc every 1-2 minutes. I have my phone playing music using the wifi and it doesnt lose connection so it's only the connection to the server, and when I dc, i lose the internet completely on my laptop for like 15 seconds. If it was my connection to the router wouldnt my phone stop playing?

Anything to fix this is much appreciated. :) Hoping to be able to play a whole bg without 10 - 20 dc's.

Okay, 1st of all I would go on internet and make sure you're network driver is updated, which resolves a lot of issues, I had the same problem back in DOTA, I used to host the games, and I'd loose connection in the middle of the game. Second of all If you're listening to the music and you loose internet connection, music is not going to stop playing, because the timer would be completed, or would be in the middle of buffering so whenever it reaches the end of the timer the music would stop. After all you can update you're driver throught the website, depends what kind of computer and video card you have. If you have Intel, go on internet and type in google "Intel Driver Update Utility" the website will automatically find the drivers you need. If you have a different video card, then let me know and I will help you if i can.

so I had a graphics card drive update and a wifi driver update, and did them both. Hope this helps. Thanks for the info.

Update:

Installed a Wifi driver update from Intel.

Installed a HD Graphics driver update from Intel.

Updated Java and another plug-in program.

Deleted Addons, cache, wtf folder, and interface.

Re-installed Addons.



Result:

Not a single dc in 2 hours. :) Thanks for helping me out. I would have gone insane.
