Hello I need some help. So I've downloaded the pre installed TBC thing and I've both copy it in the Retail folder and tried to make a new folder but the thing is when I try to change the real list it just come up at ''save as'' and when i press to overwrite it just keep denies and can't save it. And when i comess to copy the files into the retail I can change the real list but when I try to logg in it keeps saying authenticating please help me!
PS: I did copy the files into my friends retail and it worked

I don't think this will help you.If after entering your username and password the game stops at 'Authenticating' or a similar message before getting to the Realm or Character selection screens, please wait a few minutes and try again. Generally when this happens the login server is extremely busy because there are a higher than normal number of players trying to log in.

If you still have the WoW TBC.rar file extract it again,but not in the same folder your retail wow is. Then change the realmlist again and try.

Do I need to download World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade (Installers & Patches) too because I've only downloaded the pre-install thing

No the pre-install thing saves you the installation. Just unrar/extract it again somewhere else and try.
