Problem with log in.

Post by liqweed »

Hello i've tryed to avoid posting a new threat here but none of the others " Can't log in! Authenticating..." threats were useful to me.
So im having tbc 2.4.3 installed and patched and when im trying to log in to the realm it freezes on logging in to game server. Tryed with both realmlists ( set realmlist connect.smolderforge.com and smolderforge.dyndns.info) ; re-installed the game; deleted catche and wtf folders; checked my realmlist file and its WTF. not txt. ; restarted the pc... and nothing helped.
Same issue occur with 3.3.5 version.

ps. Noticed that when i point on the tbc realm it brings a little note that the realm is 3.3.5...might be some server glitch or just me, will be glad to have your attention ;]

Smolderforge Wrath is our Wrath of the Lich King server. You aren't supposed to be able to connect to it with a 2.4.3 client (want to guess why?) so therefore the realm appears as offline to prevent players from logging in.

I'm not sure why you made this thread...

Your firewall, or anti-virus may be blocking the connection.

Please insure ports 8085 and 8086 are allowed to pass through.
