I just wrote my entire post and accidently clicked something and the page refreshed so here we go again...
I'm in a bit of a rut in trying to get onto this server.
I have the whole WoW folder from all the previous expansions of retail WoW, including wotlk/cata. I've been playing both pservs and retail for a while now and I understand the change they made when trying to play servers with the same patch you have to download the launcher for said server and change the realmlist in order to play. Okay cool, did it, had fun. But now here I am wanting to play bc again and everything changes. Well, I've downloaded the torrent the connection guides have provided using Utorrent, and I now have the 3 files(BC + WoW + patches) and all that good stuff, however, what i'm wanting to find out is whether or not there is a way to change my current WoW folder(or copy) into the new smolderforge 2.4.3 version using the 3 files without having to completely uninstall my WoW folder all together.
Is there a way I can use the torrents files to change or alter the patches in my current files or is my only ultimatum to get rid of all my previous WoW files/patches/launchers, the whole shebang.
Any help at all would be awesome! Sorry for the text filled post but like I said, i'm in a bit of a rut. :/

WoW(wotlk/cata) to Smolderforge(2.4.3)
Re: WoW(wotlk/cata) to Smolderforge(2.4.3)
Try moving your previous version to another folder folder or rename it so your BC can be installed at normal wow direction.
Re: WoW(wotlk/cata) to Smolderforge(2.4.3)
This is what you gotta do:
1. Move your WoW folders to a different disk or rename the folders to something else.
2. Install WoW --> TBC --> patches (What you downloaded from the torrent)
3. Rename your folder from step 1 to whatever you had.
This should leave you with your previous WoW folders and TBC installed in your pc.
