Zsteps/Moonrape hacking/abusing
Zsteps/Moonrape hacking/abusing
So yeah, logged my Alliance paladin to get some BG queues and got into Arathi. Turns out two druids by the name of Zsteps and Moonrape were either hacking, or abusing something.
After confronting them, I got this:
And so I guess according to them, "Decei" gave them the powers. Which I find highly unlikely, but that's not for me to decide. Either way, they were abusing something gamebreaking/hacking, and I would like to see fit discipline.
EDIT: lol okay so Decei fixed it. idk though, sure mistakes happen but adding something like this to a player and not knowing seems highly unlikely.

And what did this aura do? I don't really understand the report very much it doesn't really contain any info that's helpful.

Seems like Decei gave his "Friends" somekind of aura which made them able to knock back players upon attack or something, i don't know either because I am not familliar with the aura.

Re: Zsteps/Moonrape hacking/abusing
I have no idea what the aura was, but if it helps make it easier to understand, it worked a lot like Shaman's Thunderstorm in Wotlk. Or like Druid's Typhoon in Wotlk. I have no idea if it was triggered by them or triggered by attacking them, either way it was really unfair in an AB match where they could push people off ledges of the bases.
Re: Zsteps/Moonrape hacking/abusing
I do really apologize about this and It's completely my fault.. I don't really understand the picture with Moonrape saying that I'm his friend, I've never really seen the guy..
And even if he was my friend I wouldn't add things to him (auras etc)
This was all a big mistake on my part and since you couldn't see it as a debuff or buff I didn't think the .aura command worked. I did do some testing with Zsteps after before he relogged (that removed the aura completely)
Everything is back to normal and I do apologize about the unfair battleground, it won't happen again.

Re: Zsteps/Moonrape hacking/abusing
I never really believed he was your friend, afterall, anyone in S4 is a foreigner's "friend". Never really blamed you either, I honestly thought they were hacking or abusing something. You fixed it, and as long as it doesn't happen again it's coolbeans.
