Installing multiple copies on Mac is more tricky than on Windows. You can't just 'rename' the installation folder like you could for Windows. On Mac there is a settings file which remembers the location -- even if you move it.

Click on Spotlight (I'm assuming you know what that is) and type "com.blizzard"
Then click "Show All" there should be a file called like "com.blizzard.World of Warcraft.prefs"

Move it to the Trash and delete it. Then you should be able to "Install WoW."

Okay so I'm having a little issue with the first link for the patches. It keeps downloading a .exe file instead of a zip. Either that or I'm not clicking on the right link when at the website but im fairly certain I am. I'm starting to get frustrated because I've tried other patches on the Brothersoft website and even if they are for macs they are downloading into .exe files. I've even tried to look else where for a patch and those aren't working either. (The patch is in a zip file and when i unzip it it changes to a .zip.cpgz file) I really just want to play on this server and this is really putting a damper on my excitement. Any help I can get is extremely appreciated.

EDIT: Okay so I feel like an idiot....I completely skipped over the post about patching from 2.0 straight to 2.4. Did that. Whadya know it works. See you guys in game!

I haven't checked the patch links in a long time but those should be .dmg. The download-tbc link for the torrent downloads PC & Mac installers. So yes, a .exe is included but so is the Mac executable file to install Classic & TBC. However, the patches in the torrent are .exe only.

Yes, I'm aware. I didn't say they could.
