PVP , NORMAL, OR RP SERVER

What type of a server is this? My son is not here atm and his account works but I failed to ask him if it was PVP or not. I will play regardless if allowed to just curious as to what away to gear up!!

hey thanks for the fast reply!!! Anyway you can find out whats up with my account? My son can be on same computer and log in but I cannot!!! I have created 3 accounts now 1 for alliance and one for Horde so I can play with all my sons toons. Neither worked so just tried one with a Different email address and it still will not let me log in after the account says created successfully. Any idea what is wrong?

I got your PM, I just have not replied yet because I also got like 10 more, as well as tons of emails since I just got back from vacation.

Account creation works fine, so there's no need to continue making multiple accounts. In addition, Horde and Alliance can be created on the same account so once again, no need for multiple accounts.

There has to be something wrong with what server you're connecting to, else it doesn't make any sense. Please open the realmlist.wtf file in the WoW folder and paste the contents. Are you also trying to connect to the TBC server while running on a 2.4.3 client?

Yeah I'm not used to having just 5 classes to choose from and this will be my first experience in having Alliance characters. I am used to having every class so my initial thought was to create 2 accounts that i could eventually have all 10 classes in. The excitement clouded my thoughts for sure. Yeah am using the right client my son was able to log in with his account just fine it was only my accounts. Not sure why but any account created on his pc though can log into the game from my pc with no issues but if the account is created from my pc then no matter what pc we try it will not work. You want me to copy the realmlist wtf file to here?

I will never lay claim to being the smartest guy around and definitely never post an account log on issue before making sure my realmlist is not correct. Something is blocking it there is no question about it just have not found it yet. Anyway I was able to log in very late in the day with an account created on his computer and we ran a BG together. One thing for sure is not knowing is really bothering me. If my pc was blocking an account from logging in then I tend to believe no account would be able to log in. I do appreciate all tips. I will let you know if I am able to fix it on my end so you can tell others of a possible solution in case they have same issue. Take care and I hope your vacation was awesome!!! Want to take my wife on one soon if we can escape the restaurant and server long enough lol

I will never lay claim to being the smartest guy around and definitely never post an account log on issue before making sure my realmlist is not correct. Something is blocking it there is no question about it just have not found it yet. Anyway I was able to log in very late in the day with an account created on his computer and we ran a BG together. One thing for sure is not knowing is really bothering me. If my pc was blocking an account from logging in then I tend to believe no account would be able to log in. I do appreciate all tips. You'd be surprised how many people are trying to connect to the Wrath server, or another server for that matter. Or they have a realmlist.wtf.txt file instead of just .wtf. We weren't calling you stupid like you told me we were in your email, please stop implying that.

It's then probably like you said, something is blocking it. You'll need to figure that out on your own. It could very well be the firewall or anti-virus. Which then, you'll really need to spend the time looking into since we're not there and don't have every anti-virus in the world to assist with. Plus I don't even use Windows anymore very much.
