Post your realmlist.wtf and delete your cache folder.

set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info
set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
set realmlistbn ""
set portal us

Correct? I use to just have it as set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info and that did not work same as this.

Thanks for your help in advance :D

Also, if it matters, I have two World of Wacraft games on my computer, 2.4.3 and 3.3. The 2.4.3 is a clean install, no cache, no addons, nothing. I did something weird when I installed however. I had up to patch 2.4.3 without Burning Crusade installed then I noticed that and installed it. Afterwards it displayed my version was at 2.0.0 so I re-patched it again. Maybe that might have something to deal with it?

Trying to be as specific as possible :D

When you instant The Burning Crusade, it reverts you to 2.0.0 -- that's just something it does no matter what. So make sure you patch up again.

Okay, so are you connecting with a 2.4.3 client? Or did you just copy & paste that realm list from your retail one? Because the "set portal" and "set realmlistbn" -- those never existed in Wrath, that is part of the new Battle.net system.

Your realmlist for 2.4.3 should be:

set realmlist smolderforge.dyndns.info
set patchlist smolderforge.dyndns.info

^ The reason why it is important to set your patchlist is because this is where it looks for updates (auto updates). Without setting it to something else not related to Blizzard, it will always attempt to upgrade you to 3.0.x
