Hello Smolderforge community!

I came up with an idea that could improve the PvP in Aszhara/Hyjal but also with the idea of adding a PvP zone with a purpose; To increase the World PvP atmosphere such as Gurubashi arena, or those two areas that I named, the idea is pretty much simple, It's basically all about farming Badges by killing a player, this will make more people enjoy the PvP as it is now, since all are just queueing for a BG and this idea could be implemented with some dailies that gives you honor points, the purpose of this idea, is to encourage people to play world PvP just like in the old times.

Please, do share your opinions or ideas.

This was the original idea, but I feel like we'd end up catching people farming alt characters over and over for exploitation. We already encounter people HK farming at graveyards from time to time.

Then what you could do is setting a base for each GY with Unkilliable mobs? just an idea :)

That's exactly how the old Hyjal worked and it was still massively abused. See the screenshots in this thread: https://www.smolderforge.com/forums/562 ... /p1#p41345

People learn to glitch them, kite them away temporarily while a raid descends upon the graveyard, glitch their evade to where they never run back to their original position, glitch LoS, etc. Literally everything that could be found and abused, was, at the expense of tons of annoyed players being chain-farmed. That's why the graveyards are in the air now.

Well, I ment guards with superior speed and that could 1 hit you, in a server I was long time ago, the server had that to prevent this kind of abuse, basically they were impossible to kill or kite.

Gurubashi arena has been suggested about a million times. The reason hyjal is dead is because theres nothing to do unless another player is there first and nobody is going to wait to be the first.

Theres 30 people online right now as im typing this and im positive that if there were portals to orgrimmar/stormwind that I would be in orgrimmar killing guards and somebody from horde would come and try to kill me. If theres going to be portals to anywhere I think this is the answer.

Would be nice to get Hyjal active again, we need something in it that will attract players to go there.
Maybe a big sign in the mall that says: World PvP, enter this portal here!

You could als spawn a boss there or add new daily's for fragments? Something that will make it more interesting to go there. Or we could make a new area for World PvP to replace Ashzara Crater and Hyjal.

I would recommend to choose one World PvP zone and ditch the other so that there is always a zone open where you can go for some World PvP.
If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you..

I think making a new PvP zone is the best idea. Hyjal is really boring...Wide open space, just blah. Same with Azshara crater. It would be nice to have a zone with houses/scenery, instead of a big open field.
