Ability to remove 3s solo team.

Post by Proudmore »

Players should be able to remove their 3s solo team, make a specific command ,add a button at arena master or make "leave team" button working, but this must be impletemented , as tickets won't be read untill there will be a gm in staff, and no one is going to remove teams of players asking for it .

This could be good, but if this function should remove personal rating, this feature would be retarded. It would destroy more than what it would improve. It would also have tons of loopholes, otherwise I can understand it.

For example this can bring you to have a mule char, you can "dead sign", this will also promote wintrading and fake games. You could also leave and nullified a game and make a new team and so on. You can be AFK with less harm. If we remove the personal rating dilemma that is.

wintrading? personal rating? what?

I am talking about the " team" not rating.
If you can create and delete 2s team, it should be avaliable for 3s aswell , its not your hks that cant be simply deleted, its an arena team , Yes it may cause people deleting their 3s team because of low rate and alot of games , whats so , It should be avaliable for everyone.
Imagine if creating playes with undead races would be baned, with reason there are too many undeads, doesn't make sense right?

For now if you want to wintrade on 3s, the character you use for this will have a very low rating which is an easy way to be spotted by admins/GMs and as you can't delete your team, logs will be easier to check, I guess...

At the current time we're not recording losses and not allowing arena teams to be reset, or deleted. The reasoning is that you're opting-in to play rated arena. I think people forget this -- in solo queue rated games there is no option to reset rating, or start over, like in team-based games. For example, League of Legends. Your team earns ranks and hidden MMR rating, and it can be deleted at any time. You as a solo player acquire your personal hidden MMR, and rank up. You cannot start over, or get a reset -- you must climb. That is the logic behind solo-queue games, and I think if we allow resets, it will promote a lot of mischievous activity, so I am somewhat hesitant and opposed to it at this time.

I just wanted to certify that this would create more problems than it would do some good. Then it's just a unnecessary bonus feature.
