Leveling up in SF for a reward

Hey! I just came up with a great idea, probably something that has been suggested before because it's a good idea but however I couldn't find a thread about it. Could it be possible to give players option to level, gear up and gain gold blizzlike way?

These players who chose this option would get a custom title and mount as a reward at level 70. You would need to gear up like you used to have in tbc because these players wouldn't have access to vendors nor could they use donation codes for gear.

Players (including myself) should just boost for a reward.

Boosting (powerleveling) has always been part of the game but I quess you could limit it with some custom changes.

The idea is great, the quests are too buggy for that to be true cos it will require farming mobs..

This. so many quests are broken, with very limited importance placed upon them. Besides, I came here because I couldn't stand the thought of leveling on a private server. Not to mention the gearing process. Oh hell no.

A lot are bugged yea, but a lot of those are script-required quests and TBC was abandoned so early (active developed stopped in 2009) that quests were never a well-focused priority for teams at TrinityCore, etc.

As for this idea, I had an idea once of being able to opt to make a character level 60, and have a different mall, vendors, battleground queues, etc. for like old-school PvP, but alas, that was at a much more populated time.

Actually... you might be surprised. I've heard talk amongst some players in regards to a lower tier pvp scene that they were interested in. If that's a viable addition, you might consider running that by people. Even as a vote, perhaps? As for a different mall, didn't Apu post some unused areas of land some months back? I cringe over the thought of using him for a citation, but the nig actually delivered.

Hmm, interesting. Well I'm open to new and interesting ideas as long as there is interest. Itslovelol also has developed a phasing system like Wrath had where NPCs, gameobjects, etc. can disappear and other things be in place. I threw out the idea of creating a simple Garrison-like system like on retail where you could buy a house and vendors or something, but then I remembered how much people hated the guild housing idea so dropped that.

Which is a darn shame, if you ask me.
Guild huts could have finally been a spark towards resurrecting world PvP.

I would personally buy Passion or One Spot a Guild house, if I knew I could team up with an equal team of players, and go try to burn the thing to the ground...
Defend your city sorta deal. Always liked that idea, but the cities themselves are way too damned big for our population.

However, since you're mentioning phasing and all that, like WoD garrisons, I get the distinct impression you did not want PvP as part of the formula. ;)

bad timing for lvl 60 content. probably the best vanilla wow server is coming out soon. and yes the lvl 60 community is bigger than the bc community
