I think that there should be at least a gear requirement for joining 3s.

What's the aim of it ?
1- Troll ? They can wear few items and remove them when they're in the arena.
2- Limit it to S3/S4 players ? No point.

More regulations isn't going to fix shit to be blunt. More regulations is just going to make people think even less for themselves. The real change should be happening between one's ears and should not have to be prompted externally.

Well what are your suggestions then, mine was like at least 2 s3 items... Cos its kinda pointless to play with ppl that just make a new char, template the gear and shit, and join arena, it just doesn't seem right to me

Though you can only equip/unequip.

S3 items cost a lot of honor which requires us to play many BGs, during many days.

Thing is, even with the current 3s solo q matchmaking, BGs are still more "casual" and "random": You can spam your spells, waste every cooldown and still be able to get few kills.
In 3s solo queue it's really different and for someone who wants to train a new class without slacking on the duel area, this is really a good place where you'll have to play " smarter" if you want to win.
Many of the S2 players queing for 3s aren't new here and just want to train a class.
It's not because they're S2 that they'll fuck up your games and anyway, you've got the same probability of the enemy team to get these S2 players. Just try to do your best even if their gear doesn't equal yours.

My unique suggestion if we had a requirement would be the resilience but there is no way to do it.

I wish that it was like that. I bet that more than 70% of the s2 players that join hope that they will get carried and win, my experience in 3s is that those players really don't give a fuck about winning and they think that it's FUN when they get one-shoted. Not focusing dps, not having correct talents, not having correct gems (some ppl dont even use the template npc) and even afk-ing or leaving for no reason than spewing hate on you.

When we read what you quoted, we can think that I'm talking about the 3s solo q on the first sentence while I'm clearly talking about BGs where spamming spells and wasting CDs is what happens.
