Unused/Awesome Areas

Hello,

I'm going to put screenshots of areas which are unused and where we could probably move the mall, duel area, performs events, etc.
I'll up the thread with new zones when I get time to go there and take screenshots. All the following screenshots are taken from Smolderforge.
I put a link to the imgur album I did with more screenshots. All ingame video settings were at max, the issue if some ss are bad is my screen resolution, sorry about that.
I let you all comment about these areas. What do you think about them ?

Everyone can participate in taking ss of nice areas. Just, do not post tons of screenshots, make an album with imgur when you want to share many pics at the same time.
Vicarious will probably come on this thread soon posting some nice screenshots of an awesome area he showed me. ;)

Stonetalon Hidden Village

Here are some screenshot of a hidden village, which is in two parts : One with aircrafts (one plane isn't back, 9/11 attack ?) and another one with a lumberjack workshop and a robot.

Southern Silithus

This area is well-known but it's clearly a large area, workable.
I also took a screenshot on the flying building, found a way to access into it with a mage (it took me 5 hours to find a path which finally takes 5 minutes although).
There is also a part where we can fish, something really important to state I guess.

Karazhan's Crypts and Netherspace

6 pics from the Crypt behind Kharazan, has like 5 titled areas and it's massive, I always thought if I made a private server I'd stuff everything in there just cus it's cool. If you wanna get there just blink through the mountainside above the crypt, takes a few tries but it's easy.

Next 2 are from Netherspace, retardedly hard to get to, basically just a large grey area with a distorted Kharazan tower and some floating rocks. Couldn't really be used for everything except a cool boss area I guess but it's really cool when you're there.

GM Island

Here we can see a wife waiting for her husband to come back at their new home, the Ghostlands Mystery Island. Last time she saw him, he told her that he had got a promotion.
She's still looking around, waiting for his come back.

Valley of Honor Arena

I don't know if we can do something here, just in case.

Stonetalon Ruins

I really think that the Stonetalon Hidden Village could be a new mall, main area and that we could see a duelling area or another part of the mall, on this kind of ruins, not far away from the hidden village.

Ironforge Airfield

A large area, easily accessible. It could easily hosts a fun event.

Wetlands Dwarven Farm

An unused area, it might host a fun event. Nothing more in my opinion as we can't enter on the houses.

Shatterspear Village

A very well-known area, just took some screenshots of it even if everybody probably knows it.

Pyrewood Village

This area would make a perfect mall, but it's not really "unused".

Stormwind Vault

This is the unused version of the stockade, instanced, but with 2 floors (we start on the higher), many rooms and a final one which is really different compared to the other big rooms.
I'm pretty sure that this instance could host a PvE event, or even more, a new custom dungeon.

Um... How did you get to those places without hacking?

Parachute cloak, rocket boots, blink and slow fall on my mage in order to reach the scarab building.
And obviously tons of try.

If we can get logged in at a same moment, I could show you the road. ;)

Anyway "unused" area. Used exactly for what in your opinion?
And did you just breach the meeting area/zone/land whatever they call it? There are invisible walls there as much as I know when I was summoned there.

I thought that you would participate with suggestions. ;)
Grael told me that the Scarab Building isn't used a lot when I asked him about it today. There is just one invisible wall, we can see its exact position when we are on the other side of it.
Anyway Southern Silithus isn't used at all, same goes for the Stonetalon Village.

If you didn't like these two zones, don't worry, I guess that there will be many other areas that you would enjoy, soon. :)

edit : I didn't get summoned by a GM there, walked all the way.

^ Karazhan's Crypts are really huge, they could easily host any event, if you put here and there torches to mark the road to follow.

GM Island, Valley of Honor's Arena and Stonetalon Ruins added to the first post.

I suggest that you edit the first post it would be more decent and catchy if you know what I mean. People would click on "Cool unused zones" thread and check them instantly rather than scrolling down etc..

Just a suggestion.
