I don't know if this suggestion is even plausible but what about removing the honor cap and making honor viewable to other players like HKs? I'm pretty sure the honor cap was only implemented so that people couldn't save up honor and get the new season's gear on the first day it came out. I feel this would give players more incentive to win games, but please do not remove HKs. People over react with the term "HK farming" in battlegrounds here. It's just that killing people is the most fun part of the game but allowing people to stack up their honor would give people at least a small incentive to win BGs.

You mean raising the 75k honor cap? Yes it's do-able. Not sure if players would care that much. The only way they could view it would be via armory since the client doesn't allow players to see that information.

It'd be nice to raise this cap.

Yep, that is what I mean. Of course it would be another bragging right like titles and such but it would feel like honor is at least worth something instead of destroying stacks of 100 BG Marks. Since a win is 3 marks it will lead to more honor and start getting people to play the BGs the way they are meant to be played a little more. I'm not saying people are going to go bat shit over stacking up honor but it would add a small incentive to maybe grab a base or flag here and there. I just thought it would be cool to let that number get as high as it wants to and people will eventually start comparing who has the most.

Isn't there enough importance placed upon honor farming in middle already?

Farming honor means winning battlegrounds, we can hope that some will finally take objectives as a more important concern.
