Lirion Should Have A Portal To Gurubashi Arena

Having a quick portal to Gurubashi Arena would be a nice pvp alternative to Azshara Crater and Bg's

To further my point. When its late at night and the factions are very imbalanced, Gurubashi Arena would be the place to go to if it was easy to get to with a simple extra port addon from Lirion.

US players like myself get really sad during the dead hours when no BG's are happening and Azshara Crater isnt exactly popping off.

At least with Gurubashi Arena it gives both factions a chance to pvp while things are down.

Henhouse, Id love your input on this subject since no one else seems to have any kind of opinion on the matter.

ffa areas could be nice but as you said (out of context), "imbalanced" : Swp geared alliance casters in a limited size area : players will stay 1 second (time to get killed) in the arena and will definitely afk at tanaris battlemasters/mall.

Aint gunna work. First it would be make a portal to guru, second would be fags camping guru, third would be "want battlemasters at guru hehe" forth would be guilds camping guru, etc. not practical seen it on other servers and it doesnt work

sounds like a slippery slope fallacy to me.

You can make the same argument for Azshara Crater and that zone works perfectly fine as it was intended to work.

Gurubashi is not meant to be a constant respawning/fighting place. We've done it before in the past and it's a horrible mess. Even if you put graveyards on the top of the walls people will get up there and camp, cast people down, etc. It turns into a situation worse than the previous Hyjal. Azshara only works semi currently due to safe-spawn in locations and multiple graveyards. But that's only to an extent.

fair enough. It still doesnt change my view that this server needs some type of cross-faction pvp zone when things are dead. That issue wont just suddenly dissolve into thin air.

I'm open to suggestions.
